Dr Stephen Gibson is a Pain Medicine Physician with over 20 years clinical experience. He has been directing a large pain service at a leading Sydney teaching hospital where he enjoys working with patients developing a multidisciplinary pain management plan that is tailored to their specific needs.

 

Notably he has advanced skills in pain management procedures, cancer pain management, early interventions for complex regional pain syndromes, neuropathic pain and has been consulting many patients affected by pelvic mesh implants.

As an anaesthetist he is keenly aware of issues that can cause acute pain to become chronic pain and works aggressively to prevent this progression. His anaesthetic practice focuses on surgical interventions for vascular and gynecological pain conditions, especially endometriosis.
